As required by the governing documents of Creekside Place Community Association, Inc., an Annual Meeting of the members will be held on Thursday, March 11th, 2021 at 7:00pm on Zoom.

The meeting will begin promptly at 6:00pm.

The deadline to submit the attached ballot is 4 pm February 10, 2021. Please e-mail or mail in the ballot to ensure your vote is counted, voting during the meeting will not be possible due to the meeting being held virtually.

Creekside Place CAI has the opportunity to offer recycling services in addition to the current trash service.  This opportunity is available if we have a minimum of 50 residents interested in adding the recycling.  Below is a sliding scale of the cost of the recycling service depending on residents who are interested.

0-49 homes: service not offered

50-99 homes: $15 per month +tax

100-149 homes: $7 per month +tax

150 homes+: $5 per month +tax

If the minimum of 50 homes are interested in adding recycling service, then all interested addresses will be forwarded to Texas Pride in order to add the service to the next quarterly billing cycle. If the minimum number of homes is met … ONLY interested homes will receive recycling services and will be billed accordingly.

Dear Homeowners:

This is your notice of the Annual Meeting of the Members of Creekside Place Community Association, scheduled for Thursday February 11, 2021 at 6:00pm.

The meeting will be held for the following purposes:

1. To elect 5 Board Members.
2. To transact any other properly presented business.

Please find a Board Member Candidate Profile form enclosed. Due to COVID-19, the annual meeting will be held virtually. All voting must be done prior to the meeting and floor nominations will not be possible. Please submit your name and candidate solicitation to place your name on the ballot and be considered for the Board. 

During the Annual Meeting, the Homeowners will elect members to the Board. In anticipation of the Annual Meeting, the current Board would like to extend to you the opportunity to nominate yourself for election to the Board. Nominations are open to anyone who is current on their dues and has not been convicted of a felony.  Nominations should be made by completing, signing, and submitting the attached form to CreeksideplaceHoa1@gmail.com or mailed to 22927 Creekside Willow Dr Tomball, Tx 77375. The Board of Directors, which plays a very important part in the future of our community, is made up of volunteers.

Please submit your Board Member Candidate Profile form to the Nominating Committee following the instructions on it. The deadline for submitting nominations is January 22, 2021. Be advised that the names of individuals submitted via a Board Member Candidate Profile form will be listed on the absentee ballot as well as on the voting ballot. 

We encourage your participation in the Association. As you know, the Association has many important functions, including maintenance of common areas and landscaping, budgeting for current and future expenses, communicating with owners, and managing and collecting assessments. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Creekside Place Community Association Board. Board Nomination Form and Letter (PDF)

All HOA dues have been mailed out. You should receive them by this coming week.

We will be having a Board meeting to discuss the following:

1) Board will vote on the following bids:
a) New landscaping and irrigation bids
b) Front entrance signage bids (including architecture, build, landscaping, and irrigation work)
c) Installing cameras at all community areas (park, swing set, playground)

2) Board will vote on the following By-Law amendments:
a) Annual meeting will be moved from April each to January each year
b) Perimeter fencing is the responsibility of the HOA (will amend and clarify fencing policy under Section 204.010(6) and (7) of the Property Code)
c) Terms of elected officials will be 1-, 2-, 3- year terms, as chosen by the elected board officials, in the first election of an entirely new board. Thereafter, elected officials will serve 2-year terms to maintain the staggered elections and continuity of the board.

**If you would like to discuss something at this meeting you will need to provide an agenda no later than 10 days from this day November 4th, you will have 2 minutes to discuss the said topic.
if there is not an agenda sent then it will not be discussed.

**Please be polite, non bashing, aggressive, or personally attacking in this meeting, if this happens you will be removed from the call. This will not be tolerated.

Please let us know if you know any of your neighbors who do not receive email updates as we have had many new folks move in the community in the last 6 months or so.
